Where is the Sun?

Join the Mount Jefferson Natural Area park ranger for this unique afternoon solar eclipse program. You’ll enjoy the mountain’s breathtaking visits as we learn a few fun facts about the sun and the eclipse on this special day. Don't forget to protect your eyes! Note: Mt. Jefferson State Natural Area is not in the path of totality for this eclipse.

Get Caught in the Dark: Eclipse Float

Check out the Eclipse! Get Caught in the Dark, floating down the New River, sponsored by New River Outfitters.

When: Monday, August 21
Time: 12:45pm – 4:00pm

Eclipse on the New!

Sponsored by Riverside Canoe, here is a great opportunity to view the eclipse on the new river and join is festivities afterward. You’ll paddle along the New River and watch the eclipse. Launch from Riverside Canoe and then return for a BBQ and entertainment. Reservations required.
