Don’t miss the Blowing Rock Winterfest, to take place Thursday, January 26th through Sunday, January 29th. Enjoy a multitude of events t that include the Polar Plunge in Chetola Lake, Chilly Chili Cook-Off, WinterFeast, WinterPaws Dog Show, Winter Fashion Show, ice carving, concerts and more!
Here’s a rundown of just some of the events that will be taking place:
On Thursday check outWinterFeastfrom 5:30pm – 8:00pm at Chetola Resort at Blowing Rock. Culinary delights will be offered from Blow Rock’s Best chefs.
On Friday evening from 5:00pm – 7:00pm take theIce Strollto view all of the lighted ice sculptures created by Travis Dale, one of only five master ice carvers in the US, in front of businesses in downtown Blowing Rock after dark. What’s more, local restaurants will be offering special comfort foods on Friday.
On Saturday, from 10:00am – 12:00pm check out thePolar Plungeat Chetola Resort, one of the highlights of the WinterFest!
From 4:00pm – 6:00pm check out theCork and Canvas Eventat BRAHM. Drink wine and create art based on Vase with Twelve Sunflowers by Vincent van Gogh facilitatedby trained instructor Thomas Thielemann.
On Sunday, check out theWinterPaws Dog Showfrom 1:00pm -3:00pn. You can show off your dog or just come to see the dogs compete.
