What better way to celebrate the “wearing of the green” and “the luck of the Irish” than to listen to some traditional Irish music. Joe Shannon’s Mountain Home Music will be presenting the following concert in Blowing Rock the day after St. Patrick’s Day 2017:
The Pipefitters at Blowing Rock American Legion Building
Join JSMHM as they present a Saint Paddy's Concert on Saturday, March 18th. The Pipefitters are a highly regarded trio recognized as some of Asheville's finest Irish musicians. Pipefitter members include Sean Sutherland on guitar, bouzouki and vocals; John Hyers on flute and whistles; and Jack Devereux on fiddle. The Pipefitters will be drawing on their years of musical immersion - both in Ireland and traditional music hotbeds in the US - to provide an evening of true traditional Irish session music that will have you feeling that you have been transported to an authentic Irish pub! What a great way to celebrate this holiday!
