This unique evening is an opportunity to travel back in time to see what Hallows' Eve was like during the 18th century in the High Country.

An Oktoberfest Craft Beer Crawl is a great way to enjoy the fall season. On Saturday, October 15th, Boondocks Brewing and other local craft beer locations in the West Jefferson area offered just that, a festive traditional German experience as the fall leaves continue to display their magnificent colors in the High Country. Participating businesses presented unique craft beers, German and other pub foods, as well as other specials.

This one-of-a-kind 4-bedroom/3-full bath (plus ½ bath) mountain home, located in the sun-dappled community of Stonebridge, combines a rustic ambience with the best in contemporary living.

More spooky fun is just around the corner at the annual Blowing Rock Halloween Festival, to take place on Saturday, October 29th. This FREE event is hosted by Blowing Rock Parks and Recreation. A fun-filled day of many activities will take place all day, highlighted by the traditional Monster March when all the young trick or treaters get to take over Main Street in downtown Boone and show off their costumes. Prizes will be awarded during the Costume Contest and also during the Scavenger Hunt.
