Witness the grace, power and beauty of the incredible Golden Dragon Acrobats on March 16th at the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts in Boone. The Golden Dragon Acrobats represent the best of a time honored tradition that began more than twenty-five centuries ago.

West Jefferson has long been home to artists, whether local, like the late Florence Thomas, or transplants who brought—and keeping bringing—their talents with them. The Ashe County Arts Council has been a mainstay of the arts community here, and developed our monthly Gallery Crawl (Second Friday evening of each month, June-October), as well as the barn quilt tour, the murals all over town, and so much more.

At the River House Inn, in Grassy, Creek, just 17 miles from West Jefferson, the King Bees duo will "make music for your honey" throughout the evening! A special Valentine’s Menu will be offered.
