You’ll find an array of fresh vegetables and fruits, local honey, molasses, maple syrup, homemade jams, jellies, and locally grown popcorn packaged for home popping and ready to eat in an assortment of flavors.

If you are a recreational shooter, check out the Ashe County Wildlife Club. With the weather warming up, they have a bunch of events lined up this April.

For nearly four decades the annual Blowing Rock Trout Derby has been a much-anticipated early springtime event in the village. Blowing Rock has some of the best trout fishing anywhere in the Southeast, so the combination of the Derby and our lovely springtime makes for a great reason to visit. Fishing is a sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime and the Derby is a great way to be together as a family.
